Product Description

Necklace of turquoise 4 mm rondelle faceted beads knotted on blue silk. The necklace is 46 cm long and fastens with a vermeil decorative clasp with a turquoise cabochon bead. The clasp can therefore be worn beautifully at the front. The rondelle beads have very small facets and vary in size. The largest beads are near the clasp.
The beads come from Tibet and have been treated to make them less porous. They have also been dyed to increase the colour intensity.

Every necklace I create starts with the gemstone. I carefully select each stone for its color, quality, and energy; no two stones are alike, and no two necklaces are identical.

What necklace length suits me?

The most common length is 42 to 45 cm, which falls just above the collarbone and suits almost any neck size and neckline. A necklace of 50 cm or longer falls over the collarbone and pairs well with a V-neck. When in doubt: measure your favorite necklace with a tape measure. Can I wear my gemstone necklace all the time?

We recommend removing your necklace when showering, swimming, exercising, and when it may come into contact with perfume or sunscreen. Moisture and chemicals can affect the gemstone's brilliance and the gold-filled material's finish. Preferably, store your necklace in a jewelry box or a soft pouch, separate from other jewelry to prevent scratching.

What is the difference between a silver and a gold-filled necklace?

Sterling silver (925 silver) has a cool, bright look and is timelessly elegant. It may tarnish slightly over time but is easy to polish. Gold-filled has a warm, golden color and contains a thick layer of real gold that is mechanically bonded to the metal; this is 50 to 100 times thicker than regular gold plating. Both materials are hypoallergenic and suitable for sensitive skin.

How do I combine my necklace with other jewelry?

Gemstone necklaces combine best with jewelry that matches in color or material. If you choose a gold-filled necklace, also combine it with gold-filled earrings or a bracelet.
